How can I book a room at Pleasant HomeStay?

You can book a room through multiple ways:

What documents are required for booking?

For Indian guests: Original government photo ID (Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport) is mandatory for all guests. For foreign guests: Passport and valid visa are required.

Is advance payment required for booking?

Yes, we require 50% advance payment to confirm your booking. The remaining amount can be paid at check-in. For one-night stays, full payment in advance is required.

What is the minimum and maximum stay duration?

Minimum stay is 2 hours (for short stays) and maximum stay can be extended up to 30 days. For longer stays, please contact us for special rates and arrangements.

Check-in & Check-out

What are the check-in and check-out timings?

Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. However, we offer flexible timings based on room availability. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged with prior notice (additional charges may apply).

Can I check-in early or check-out late?

Yes, early check-in and late check-out are available subject to room availability. Charges for early check-in (before 12 PM) and late check-out (after 11 AM):

  • 50% of room rate for up to 6 hours extension
  • Full day charge for more than 6 hours extension

Do you provide luggage storage after check-out?

Yes, we provide complimentary luggage storage for up to 6 hours after check-out. For longer storage, a small fee may apply.

Payments & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept multiple payment methods:

  • Cash (Indian Rupees)
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, PayTM)
  • Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS)
  • Credit/Debit Cards (subject to availability)

Are there any additional charges or taxes?

All prices shown include GST. No hidden charges. However, additional services like birthday cakes, decorations, photography, or extra meals are charged separately as per actuals.

Do you offer discounts for long stays?

Yes, we offer special discounts for stays longer than 7 days:

  • 7-14 days: 10% discount
  • 15-30 days: 15% discount
  • Monthly stays: 20% discount
  • Contact us for custom packages for longer stays

Facilities & Services

What is included in the complimentary breakfast?

Our complimentary breakfast includes:

  • Tea/Coffee
  • Bread toast with butter/jam
  • Eggs (boiled/scrambled/omelette)
  • Fresh fruits (seasonal)
  • Juice or milk

Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.

Do you have WiFi and is it free?

Yes, we provide free high-speed WiFi throughout the property. The WiFi password is provided at check-in. There are no data limits or additional charges.

Is parking available and is it free?

Yes, we have secure parking space available for our guests at no additional cost. The parking area is within the premises and under CCTV surveillance.

Do you have laundry service?

We provide laundry service through a trusted local provider. Charges are as per actuals and collection/delivery takes 24 hours. Price list is available at the front desk.

Couple-Friendly Policy

Is Pleasant HomeStay couple-friendly?

Yes, we are a couple-friendly homestay. We welcome both married and unmarried couples. We maintain complete privacy and discretion for all our guests.

What documents are required for couples?

Both guests need to provide valid government photo ID (Aadhar, Driving License, Passport, or Voter ID). We follow standard hotel check-in procedures for all guests.

Do you have any age restrictions for couples?

All guests must be 18 years or older. We reserve the right to verify age through valid ID proof at check-in.

Cancellation Policy

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation 48+ hours before check-in: Full refund
  • Cancellation 24-48 hours before check-in: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Refunds are processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment method.

Can I modify my booking dates?

Yes, you can modify your booking dates subject to availability. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your original check-in date. Date changes may affect the room rate depending on season and availability.

How far is Pleasant HomeStay from Guwahati Airport?

We are approximately 25 km from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU). Travel time is about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.

Is public transportation easily available?

Yes, we are well-connected by public transport:

  • City buses pass nearby
